Prefer to listen instead of read? I recorded a quick audio version for you 🎧 Just click the image. Okay, real talk. Every January, I do the same thing for client websites. I don’t redesign. I clean things up. Because after a year of launches, edits, quick fixes, last-minute updates, and “I’ll come back to that later”… (Kind of like that one drawer in your kitchen. You know the one.) Here’s what January looks like on my end:
Not glamorous. Very effective. And I realized something recently: If I’m doing this for my clients every January… you should probably be doing it for your own website too. So I made something to help. I put together a simple, no-stress Website Reset Checklist — the exact kind of thing I walk through behind the scenes. It works for any platform and doesn’t require you to be techy or dramatic about it. 👉 Grab the free Website Reset Checklist here:
You don’t have to do everything. Honestly, if you do one thing, I’d start with the security step — it’s the least exciting and the most protective. (Very “wear sunscreen” energy.) My goal with this isn’t to add another thing to your to-do list. It’s to help you feel back in control of your website instead of avoiding it like an unread email from 2019. And if you skim the checklist and think, “Yeah… I’d rather not do this myself,” that’s okay too. That’s literally my job 😉 But either way — you deserve a website that feels current, solid, and not quietly working against you. Mahalo for letting me nerd out with you and Happy New Year, Selena 🌺 |

Aloha Friday 💛 This week I spent time with my mother-in-law and her besties—women who found each other years ago, started meeting for coffee, and somehow turned it into a 10+ year tradition. Same table. Same people. Different seasons of life. It reminded me how important community is—especially when you’re building something of your own. Entrepreneurship can feel lonely, even when things are going well. So here’s my one Aloha Friday question for you: 👉 Who is your community right now—the...
