This likely includes your company too. It’s called the beneficial ownership information report (the "BOI Report"). In the government’s effort to combat "dirty money" activities (e.g., money laundering, tax evasion, terrorism funding, other illicit activity, etc.) done under shell or front companies, it has decided to require certain companies to report personal information about the owners of these companies. This rule goes into effect on January 1, 2024, and most small businesses will need to start submitting the BOI Report next year. If you use Loom, itʻs been recently purchased by Atlassian who also owns Trello. Iʻm curious if Atlassian will raise prices because they did that with Trello.
