Itʻs Aloha Friday Reader!! 🌺 Iʻve been having conversations with my kiddo on her thoughts on working for a big company and having to chat with so many people throughout her shift. She had a revelation. "I like people more than I thought" TikTok BanTikTok is in the news because President Biden signed into law a bill that could ban the smartphone app in the US. But maybe you've never used TikTok. Here's the basics and why the app is important. TikTok CEO talking about the ban Have you ever needed something digital for work you are doing but needed more. Like letʻs say while working in Canva you arenʻt getting or seeing what you need to make your design complete? I like to use Creative Market. Iʻve purchased fonts, graphics, website templates, etc. Fair warning if you love fonts like how I love fonts, you may spend a whole day without realizing it down that rabbit hole. 🤪 I met this weekʻs community bestie a couple of years ago and have loved all the tips sheʻs shared. Being a photographer her eye to detail is like *chefʻs kiss*. In fact I purchased a lightroom preset package I use every week to use on my photos. Anyway, sheʻs a Instagram queen and I constantly learn from her and you can too. What helps you focus when working? Sometimes I need ambient music in the background and I realize I work really well when I head to my local coffeehouse. Iʻve had this or other videos as part of my playlist. So hope this helps.
