🍍 Aloha Friday Scoops From Your Techie Bestie | April 19, 2024

Itʻs Aloha Friday Reader!! 🌺

This week my husband traveled to surprise his mom for her birthday and she loved that her baby boy (all 44 years of him) was home. I mentioned in January that I want to be more intentional with what I do and little things like this are exactly what we are focusing on.

Also, this week on the 15{ish} MInute Coffee Chat we had on guest Naomi Greenstein of Glas Media and was asked the question on what character you would be from The Office.

Hit reply and do tell! I said as much as I love Michael below, I hope to never be the type of leader he was. 🤪 (Iʻm more a Jim or even Andy Bernard)

Organic vs. Paid Social Media: Differences and Strategic Tips

Weighing the options between organic vs paid social media? We’ll save you some legwork: you’re probably going to want to do a bit of both.

32 Instagram Features Marketers Need To Know in 2024

Instagram features are constantly pushing boundaries, evolving, and changing before our very eyes.

This social network is a multi-talented queen: Sure, you can throw a cool filter on a photo, but thanks to Instagram’s many native features, you can also:

Notion

Iʻm a HUGE proponent that business owners NEED a project management tool to help manage their tasks, have a central headquarters for client work information, and team orgnaization. There are many of them out there, but Iʻm gonna share about my current favorite Notion.

"As a first step, we are blending much of your workflow into an all-in-one workspace. Want a task list? A product roadmap? A design repository? They are now all in one place. You can even customize your own workspace from dozens of LEGO-style building blocks.Solve your problems your way, bounded only by your imagination."

Anna Larson is truly one of my besties and in this journey of entrepreneurship itʻs a relief to have someone who not only lives 5 minutes from me, is pretty much part of my family AND getting inspired by the projects we work together ON and are individually involved in.

She is a fantastic wordsmith, a phenomenal strategist, my cohost for our 15{ish} MInute Coffee Chat, and paving the way in the military spouse transition space, and Iʻm so proud of her!

If you arenʻt already following her...find some places below to do that.

If sheʻs reading this, I wrote this all myself....no chatgpt. 🤪

If you are a military spouse that will be transitioning out of the military soon due to your servicemembers retirement, go here to Annaʻs new website to grab resources.

I love connecting on LinkedIn and sharing my bestieʻs LinkedIn Profiles

This week's question is

"What does it to drive traffic to your website and why is it important?"

P.S.- I canʻt believe it BUT we got our last episode of season 12 set for next week. Our guest Maria Kellis joined us from Thailand to share her take on Authentic Leadership.

Her episode will stream live here and be available on our podcast here.

Hey [First Name], Here's the thing nobody says out loud in the online business space: Marketing amplifies. It doesn't rescue. If your funnel is unclear, your follow-up is manual, and your systems depend entirely on you being "on" — more marketing just produces more of the same result, faster. That's not a content problem. That's a clarity problem. Which is exactly why I contributed to the Automated Sales Bundle 5.0 — a free collection of 60+ resources organized by Allison Hardy, built...

Hey Reader, Can I be honest with you for a second? Most of the business owners I work with aren't struggling because they don't have AI tools. They're struggling because none of them are actually working together. You add one app, then another, then another... and somehow the to-do list gets longer. That's not an AI problem. That's a friction problem. And it's exactly what I'm talking about at the AI Exposed Summit — a free, online summit running June 1–5 with 20+ speakers sharing real,...

Bestieeeee, Just a heads up — the Out of Office bundle closes tomorrow, May 22nd, and I'd hate for you to miss it. Quick recap of why I think it's worth your time: It's a free collection of 35+ resources built around one idea: your business should be able to run (at least a little) without you having to be constantly on. Systems, tools, templates, strategies — all from people who actually walk the walk on this stuff. I'm in there with The Funnel Reset™ workbook, which — if you're a new...
